Further to the success of our recent Music and Movement sessions and the demand for them to continue, we will launching a second run of classes at the beginning of May.
Join us for FREE at our Music & Movement sessions.
Brio Retirement Living have teamed up with charity Sutton Befrienders part of the Volunteer Centre Sutton to help older and isolated people make new friends.
This series of events has been created by Sutton Befrienders, funded by Comic Relief, supported by Major of London and hosted by Brio Retirement Living at Button House.
No need to RSVP just turn up!
The aim is to help older and vulnerable people who may feel isolated to make new connections and provide an opportunity to meet new people, in their community. Fun and informal dance sessions, involving low level exercise to music. Suitable for all abilities, can be chair based if necessary. Meet new people and connect with like-minded friends.
We are running 6 sessions throughout May and June, and you are welcome to come to any or all!
Where: Button House, 6 Spinning Wheel Way, Hackbridge, SM6 7GD (entrance opposite Lidl Hackbridge car park, short walk from Hackbridge Station and 151/127 bus stop).
When: All classes are on a Friday morning from 10.30am to 12.00pm. Running weekly from the 5th of May.
Previous feedback included, that participants noted the positive impact the sessions had had on their mood and fitness, and also appreciated the opportunity to connect with other people and the local community.
