Brio Retirement Living is set to open its doors in an August weekend-of-welcome at its Landale Court development in Chapelton on the pretty Aberdeenshire coastline. To be hosted on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th August – its team of later living experts will be welcoming visitors, alongside their family and friends, to look around one of the area’s most vibrant later living communities.
The two-day event will give visitors a chance to look around the 72-home development of one- and two-bedroom cottages and apartments expertly designed for residents over the age of 55. The Brio team will also be on hand to explain more about the reserve-by-September packages worth up to £7,500*.
Cliff Wilson, 68, retired in August 2021, and took some time out to reassess his life and decide where to put down his retirement roots. Cliff was one of the first residents to move into Landale Court and shares his experience here: I’ve lived and worked in Edinburgh for the last 25 years – and spent most of this time living in my four-bedroom detached house with a large garden, but it eventually became too much to look after on my own.
“From the moment I took a tour of the development, accompanied by my sister, I just knew Landale Court would be my new home. I loved the show apartment, so I bought that! It has one bedroom, it’s very spacious, has plenty of room for everything I need, and the finish is just first class! I’ve got Neff appliances, and everything is fabulous quality, including my beautiful bathroom. The area, the amenities and gardens are all brilliant - it really is the ideal home for me and I’m extremely happy here. It’s perfect!”
Brio has ensured the stunning homes are available to all, with options on offer including rent, part buy/part rent or to purchase. Additionally, an assisted living provision at Landale Court means that residents benefit from Brio colleagues on site seven days a week, a team who can help with everything from pet care, providing meals, to the collection of prescriptions, to attending medical appointments or a friendly face saying hello each day. A discreet, personal care service in partnership with Paramount Care Aberdeen is also available, with dedicated team members to help when needed.

*The reserve-by-September packages are available on reservations made by 30th September 2023. For those purchasing at Landale Court – there are two options available:
- £7,500 towards retirement with the amount taken off the property purchase price OR 9 months concierge fee FOC to help the purchaser settle in.
- For those renting at Landale Court – customers will receive 3 months rent FOC (pro-rated over 24 months)
