The assisted living retirement community in Hackbridge will play host to the charity event and everyone is welcome to come along for a cup of tea or coffee and a slice of cake.
The event, organised by Brio Retirement Living, will run from 10.00am until 12.00pm and all money raised will go to Macmillan Cancer Support’s funds for the growing number of people living with cancer across the UK.
Staff and residents will be creating some delicious home bakes, cookies and cakes all of which will be available to purchase. Christine, our in-house artist will look at making flower arrangements which we can display and sell on the day. We also have a special 'Guess the weight' competition running.
As well as refreshments, which will be provided by Brio’s own brasserie and bar Slate & Grain, there is also the opportunity to view the facilities and apartments at our age-exclusive assisted living retirement community.
“We all know that cancer can affect anyone, so that’s why we want to help raise much-needed money for people living with cancer. You are guaranteed a warm welcome and lots of tea and cake as well as the chance to view our latest community and all it has to offer.”
The Macmillan Coffee morning will be held in Slate & Grain of Brio Button House, 6 Spinning Wheel Way, Hackbridge, Wallington, SM6 7GD.
If you are interested in a viewing during our Coffee Morning event, please call 0208 773 3380 to speak to one of our friendly team.
Brio Button House will be hosting a coffee morning on Friday 29th September as part of Macmillan Cancer Support’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
