Friends and neighbours of Brio Retirement Living’s Beechwood Park in Stow-on-the-Wold are being called upon to help keep the pretty Cotswold market town litter free.
To be held on Wednesday 22nd March between 1pm and 3pm - volunteers are being invited to meet at the development’s Wintergreen Court, where litter picking equipment will be provided, and then a walk will commence around Stow-on-the-Wold and along the Fosseway to remove any litter to keep this pretty area immaculate for all to enjoy.
Afterwards, volunteers will be welcomed at Beechwood Park’s Slate & Grain brasserie and bar for free refreshments and cake to say thank you.
Volunteers taking part in the community litter pick are encouraged to bring friends and family to join them on the day. For more details please call 01451 885453
Trish Staite, General Manager at Beechwood Park, shares: “The community litter pick is the brainchild of our caring and conscientious homeowners here at Beechwood Park. The grounds here, in one of the area’s most vibrant later living communities, is immaculate and they want to ensure that Stow-on-the-Wold is equally cared for. The market town is frequented by our homeowners and their families so it’s our way of giving back and ensuring visitors to the area can enjoy it’s beauty litter free.
“We’re calling on helpers of all ages and look forward to thanking them all in our exclusive on-site brasserie and bar after the event. Complimentary refreshments and cake will be served, and anyone interested in looking around our development can enjoy a tour with one of our dedicated team.”
Beechwood Park offers one, two and three-bedroom apartments which are available to buy, rent, or part buy, part rent. All two and three-bedroom bungalows at Beechwood Park are now sold – with the development recently welcoming the new owners.
All of the homes here come with their own outdoor space as well as access to landscaped gardens; there is also an extensive range of facilities including a contemporary wellness suite, hobby room, roof terrace, landscaped gardens, fitness suite and outdoor exercise trail, plus the popular Slate & Grain brasserie, bar and coffee lounge.
Sales and Marketing Manager at Brio Retirement Living, Jess Nicoll, added: “We’re thrilled to be giving something back to the community we all love. Beechwood Park is a fabulous place to enjoy modern retirement as it should be, and what better place to do that than the picturesque Cotswold village of Stow-on-the-Wold. We want to ensure our surrounding areas are maintained and this is our way of doing that – whilst embracing the wider community too. We look forward to opening our doors to the volunteers and enjoying the time together to better our beautiful surroundings.”
