Help us create a fairy and elf garden at Beechwood Park this Christmas

Brio Retirement Living is calling on the region’s creative kids to design elves and fairies this Christmas, with the creations then going on display in the gardens at Beechwood Park community in Stow-on-the-Wold.

Retirement homes in this leafy neighbourhood are surrounded by landscaped gardens, and Brio is handing the space over to local children, inviting them to design elves and fairies that will be on display throughout the season.

Karl Hallows, Director of Operations at Brio Retirment Living, explains: “We want to celebrate this new space for Stow by creating something special for the community at Christmas. We look forward to seeing the designs and welcoming local people to view them during the festive season.”

Judges will select a winner from the creations, with the successful entrant winning a meal for their family at Beechwood Park’s Slate and Grain Brasserie.

Big and little elves can enter, all you need to do is:

  • Create your elf or fairy, this can be a drawing or a model, of any size
  • Ensure it’s waterproof (drawings should be laminated)
  • Include a separate sheet of paper with your elf or fairy’s name and any interesting facts about them, as well as your name and age
  • Drop it at Beechwood Park by Friday 26 November 2021, along with your name and telephone number
  • The elves and fairies will be on display from Friday 3 December
