This was the amazing response we got from Betty Watson following a recent visit to Landale Court in Chapelton.
This feedback came after we were delighted to welcome North East Sensory Services (NESS) to Landale Court once again. The charity returned for a further visit with more of its members who were keen to view the show homes and learn more about retirement living the Brio way.
The Easter-themed visit saw the Landale Court team take a delegation of nine members and five volunteers on a tour of the Campbell and Fraser show cottages. Our visitors were impressed with the layout and interior design of the one-bed Campbell cottage and two-bed Fraser cottage.
One visitor, Betty Watson was so impressed with our retirement community that she exclaimed: “I love everything you have shown me. You really have thought of everything.”
Betty was particularly taken with the interior design of the show cottages. Her favourite room was the second bedroom in the Fraser cottage – a bright, vibrant and comfortable bedroom, with ample storage and flooded with natural light which is decorated using a neutral palette and finished with bold colours and patterns used in the soft furnishings.
We are passionate about changing people’s perceptions of retirement living and we were delighted with the feedback that we got from Betty and her friends when they visited.
Over tea and cake, Brio’s Kelsey Williamson rounded off the visit with a talk about the care and support that will be available at Landale Court and the lifestyle on offer.
To celebrate NESS member Linda Reid’s birthday we sung Happy Birthday and presented her with a birthday cake.
We have a close relationship with the Aberdeen-based charity that helps blind and deaf people live independent lives. The charity helps people to overcome the effects of serious sight or hearing loss and provides a range of services from practical and emotional support through to providing assistive technology and equipment.
