Brio welcomed members of local charity North East Sensory Services (NESS) for a behind the scenes tour of our Chapelton retirement community Landale Court recently.

As construction moves on at a pace we were delighted to show a delegation of members who were interested in finding out more about the community as it comes to life.

They were also given an exclusive viewing of the two show cottages where they could see first-hand the properties’ features, which include fully-fitted kitchens, walk-in showers, broadband, satellite tv connection, a home automation system and assisted smart technology.

Chapelton’s Sales Manager, Vivian Bisset, led the tour stopping off at our beautiful one-bedroom Campbell show cottage and the charming two-bedroom Fraser cottage, before finishing the visit with refreshments and a chance to talk to the Brio team about what life will be like at Chapelton and the onsite services and features.

The winter sun only added to the beauty of Chapelton’s stunning location on Aberdeenshire’s coastline.

During the last 2 years, we have built a strong relationship with the Aberdeen-based charity that helps blind and deaf people live independent lives. The charity helps people to overcome the effects of serious sight or hearing loss and provides a range of services from practical and emotional support through to providing assistive technology and equipment.

Last year Brio organised the second annual Community Charity Walk and the Chapelton Bike Ride, which together raised a combined total of £7,933 for NESS. Since we selected NESS as our charity partner we have raised more than £14,000 for them.

The third Chapelton Community Charity Walk is set to take place on Sunday 1 September. If you are interested in taking part registration details will soon be available on our website. We hope to beat last year’s turn out and fundraising efforts.

If you are interested in booking an appointment to view the show homes, you can visit our sales suite in Liddell Park, Chapelton, which is open 7 days a week Mon - Friday 10.30am-5pm and Sat and Sun 11.00am – 4.00pm. You can also get in touch with the team by calling 01224 968795.
