Staff at Brio Retirement Living have helped Stow-on-the Wold to sparkle as they participated in the St Edward’s Parish Church Christmas Tree Festival. Brio, which is developing a new retirement community in Stow, sponsored the event and decorated a tree for the competition.

Taken place between 6 and 9 December, the Christmas Tree Festival brought local people together to celebrate the festive season. Members of the public voted for their favourite tree and a range of entertainment took place over the four-day event, including a Christmas Concert by Stow Primary School, festival lunch, and a chance to hear the North Cotswold Wind Band. Seasonal gifts, plants, wreaths and Christmas cards were also for sale.

Supporting the festival forms part of a number of community initiatives planned by Brio in Stow. On 6 December the retirement living specialist also invited people to its office for a chance to meet the team and enjoy a drink and nibbles.

Amy Deehan, Sales Manager for Brio Stow said: “We’re proud to have sponsored the Christmas Tree Festival and is was brilliant to be playing a part in great community event. There was a wide variety of entertainment and opportunities to raise vital funds for the church too.

“We’re keen to build relationships with the local community and get to know our neighbours, so anyone wishing to find out more about Brio Stow-on-the-Wold could pop in and see us for a festive afternoon on the Thursday following the event. As well as providing drinks and nibbles, we were on hand to answer any questions and it also gave us the chance to show off our newly decorated Christmas tree.”

Members of the local community can drop into Brio Stow-on-the-Wold’s sales office on Market Square to find out more about our new retirement community.

Brio Stow will feature 106 new homes made up of one, two and three-bedroom apartments and two and three-bedroom bungalows. Homeowners will have access to a host of facilities including a Slate & Grain brasserie and bar, fitness studio, and shuttle bus. The first phase of new homes is scheduled for completion in summer 2019.
