Work is gathering pace at our first retirement village in Chapelton, Aberdeenshire, with groundwork well underway and a brand new Brio marketing suite opening at the start of September.

The new, bespoke building will sit on the edge of Chapelton’s central Hume Square, signalling the latest phase in the town’s growth, as well as the creation of open green spaces at Liddell Park.

Brio’s official launch in Chapelton, on Sunday September 3rd, coincides with a day of family activity and entertainment in the town – as the annual Chapelton Bike Ride returns after a well-attended 2016 event.

This year’s festivities will also see the launch of the Chapelton Charity 5K Walk – a new event sponsored by Brio Retirement Living - which is free to enter and suitable for all ages.

Both events will explore Chapelton’s beautiful natural surroundings, and encourage donations to North East Sensory Services (NESS), a local charity promoting independence for blind and deaf people in the region.

Visitors to the town on September 3rd will also get a sneak preview of life at Brio Chapelton, a new community for the over-55s comprising 94 apartments and cottages, built around a bustling village centre.

There will also be a chance to sample the unique food & drink offer from Slate & Grain – a new and wholesome catering brand, developed especially for Brio retirement villages nationwide.

Karl Hallows, Director of Development and Sales at Brio Retirement Living said:

“It’s a great pleasure to be launching our new marketing suite in Chapelton, on what promises to be a fantastic day for the town.

“We hope to see a really strong turnout for the Charity 5K Walk and Bike Ride events, which will raise vital funds for a wonderful local charity.

“We’re delighted to be sponsoring this year’s walk event, and look forward to providing a real taste of the Brio Lifestyle on offer in Chapelton.”
