Phase 2 Launches At Landale Court – Bringing 22 Stunning Cottages And Apartments To Over 55’s In The Beautiful Aberdeenshire Town Of Chapelton

Brio Retirement Living has launched its second phase of later living properties at Landale Court in the beautiful Aberdeenshire town of Chapelton. For the first time, seven larger 3-bedroom properties will be available to buy, rent or part buy/part rent, whilst an additional seven stunning 2-bedroom cottages and eight 1-bedroom apartments will also be available for those looking to move to the vibrant development. 

The very first show-home, 70 Landale Court - a one-bedroom cottage - is now open for viewings and has been expertly fitted out by the talented team at Aberdeenshire-based Black Atom Designs. Kristin Bisset, Director and Interior Designer at Black Atom Designs shared: “It’s been an absolute delight to be a part of this project – I genuinely didn’t want to leave! Not only is Landale Court a wonderful place, but the properties are stunning, and the cottage was a joy to design. I took my inspiration from the surrounding area – incorporating the soft greens and pastel tones. I especially love the front door colour and used this as inspiration for the main living area – painting the beautiful panel wall in a sublime green hue then complementing it with indoor foliage, Picasso prints and oversized cushions. It’s both stylish and homely – just like the Landale Court development as a whole!”

Following research at the development, Kristin was passionate about keeping the cottage’s tones neutral and warm whilst adding stylish splashes of colour - in keeping with the surrounding countryside. Sharon Humphreys, Retirement Living Advisor at Brio’s Landale Court, added: “The final result is truly beautiful – Kristin’s eye for detail has complemented the development and the cottage itself. I’m very much looking forward to showing out guests around the property and expect someone to fall in love with it as much as I have.” 

In addition to being professionally styled, the new homes have also been lovingly named by the Brio team at Landale Court including, The Abernethy – the team’s favourite biscuit, The Stirling – after the very first homeowner at Landale Court, and The Ramsay – which is Sharon Humphreys beloved dog! 

Construction of the 22 brand-new properties completed this month with the first homes set to be ready to move into in the coming weeks. Sharon continued: “We’re thrilled to be bringing more homes to Chapelton.
