Start your engines for a magnificent motoring day out

The Cotswold Festival of Motoring is returning for the second year running and we are delighted to be playing our part once again by supporting this fantastic charity event.

Taking place on Sunday 4 August at The Cotswold School in the centre of picturesque Bourton-on-the-Water, the event is a must-visit for all car enthusiasts.

Not only will the fun family day feature an eclectic mix of vehicles, but the popular Motion Picture Motors will once again be bringing along some of the most famous cars from TV and films.
Attractions such as a free climbing wall, stalls, street food and drinks will also be available, and all funds raised will go to help charities and causes supported by the organisers of the event North Cotswold Rotary Club.

The good causes supported this year include Great Western Air Ambulance, Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice, Endometriosis UK and North Cotswold Community Awareness.

Brio Retirement Living will be attending on the day so look out for our stand. We will be running the ‘People’s Concours’ competition with categories from ‘Best in Show’ to the ever popular and often surprising ‘People’s Choice.’

“Brio were our principal sponsor for the inaugural event in 2018 and were a delight to work with”, said John Barber, the chair of the Festival’s organising team: “So North Cotswold Rotary is delighted to be partnering with Brio again this year.”

Supporting the Cotswold Festival of Motoring meets our vision to ensure every homeowner feels part of their local community.

Brio Beechwood Park in Stow-on-the-Wold offers retirees the opportunity of owning your own home and being part of a vibrant community, which includes a number of onsite facilities including fitness suite and spa, bar and brasserie, club lounge and stunning landscaped grounds. What’s more, being surrounded by like-minded friends and neighbours means you can continue to live life your way.

Brio Beechwood Park will offer 106 new homes for retirees in a range of two and three-bedroom bungalows and one, two and three-bedroom apartments for people to buy.

The first homes will be available to move into from summer 2019.
